"The Four Seasons" - Vivaldi
Especially arranged for Cuillin Sound by our very own Laurence Perkins.
Utilising not only the four main instruments, but also alto flute, piccolo, oboe D'Amore, Cor Anglais, bass clarinet and E-Flat clarinet, our "Four Seasons" programmes offers a fascinating and varied sound world presenting Vivaldi's concertos in a brilliant new way, so that you experience them as his audience would have - exciting, surprising, new. The work is augmented by projected photos by acclaimed Scottish photographer Mike Bell.
The concertos are accompanied by solo pieces including:
Peter Maxwell Davies: First grace of light
Honegger: Danse de la Chévre
